RAMH is a well-established recovery focused community and employability support service for individuals and families experiencing mental health issues.

ACUMEN is a service user and carer lead network which operates across Argyll & Bute, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde & Renfrewshire. It aims to bring service users & carers together to support development and positive change in mental health services.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals with lived experience of mental health issues who can identify and demonstrate their personal skills and attributes gained from their own personal journey of recovery, experts by experience!

As a self-management social reporting peer volunteer, you would be using your lived experience of self-managing mental health to promote the development of knowledge and skills in self-management. You will be responsible for supporting the self-management and ACUMEN teams in promoting the use of self-management with service users, promoting and attending self-management events and in a variety of mediums including Community radio.

Appropriate training including induction will be given as well as “on the job” training, individual development training, feedback and supervision.
