Office in Paisley – Operating area is Argyll & Bute, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, and Renfrewshire.

The post holder will support service beneficiary and carer participation in the planning and development of Mental Health Services in the recognised operating area. (Argyll & Bute, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and Renfrewshire) The post holder is responsible for ensuring the smooth operational management of the Service and will liaise with the CEO to develop strategic plans which reflect the aspiration of the membership. The post holder will work beneficiaries and partners to achieve shared aims.   This is a challenging and rewarding post which may require extensive travel on occasion and skill in developing relationships with communities throughout Argyll and ‘Clyde’.  The focus is on supporting beneficiary and carer involvement in all aspects of mental health recovery and consultation.  You will lead, manage and supervise a small team of staff and be an excellent communicator and presenter who can work closely with colleagues. There will be a requirement to be directly involved in consultation, particularly in Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.  You should be qualified to a minimum SVQ4 or equivalent in a relevant area and have experience of partnership working as a senior level.  You will be required to maintain confidential records, provide regular statistical reports and contribute to the development and evaluation of this service.
