Working together to promote recovery. Talking to peers with shared lived experience can be beneficial to your mental health.
Peer support is a relationship based on mutual understanding where people with a lived experience of mental health can support each other through their recovery journey. RAMH recognises the unique benefit that can come from this insight and understanding. If you have ‘been there, done that and have the t-shirt’ then you are in a position to be able to support someone else through a difficult time through being there to listen and to share your own coping strategies and tools.
We have lots of groups available across all the areas we work in. These range from anxiety management groups, to mindfulness groups, to singing groups. You can find everything we're doing on our events page.
