RAMH work in Partnership to provide a range of holistic group and individual supports to enable people on their recovery journey. RAMH provide a range of specialist and practical support services including employability, community-based groups and individual support. We are recruiting peer volunteers who will support our ongoing work, empowering individuals to be more involved in the self- management of their own mental health. We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals with a lived experience of mental health issues who can identify and demonstrate the personal skills and attributes gained from their own personal journey of recovery. We are looking for ‘Experts by Experience’.
As a Peer Volunteer – Social Media, you would be supporting individuals to aid their own self-management skills by raising awareness and reporting on events and activities to improve their mental health and overall wellbeing. You will work with RAMH Information Worker to raise awareness and promote events and activities through social media platforms. This role would be for a period of 12 months.
Training: Appropriate training including induction will be given as well as “on the job” training, individual development training, feedback and supervision.
