RAMH is a well-established recovery focused community and employability support service for individuals and families experiencing mental health issues. ACUMEN is a service user and carer network which operates across Argyll & Bute, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde & Renfrewshire. It aims to bring service users and carers together to support development and positive change in mental health services. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with lived experience of mental health issues who can identify and demonstrate their personal skills and attributes gained from their own personal journey of recovery, experts by experience! As a trained Wellness Recovery Action Plan facilitator you will be tasked with identifying opportunities to deliver groups and information sessions based on the principles of WRAP. You will work closely with ACUMEN Development Worker in Argyll and Bute to deliver information sessions on recovery, promoting self-management (the things we do to keep ourselves well) and Crisis planning using the principles of WRAP.
Hours are : 2/3 hours weekly and expenses will be paid as required.
Training: Appropriate training including induction will be given as well as “on the job” training, individual development training, feedback and supervision.
