RAMH is a well-established recovery focused community and employability support service for individuals and families experiencing mental health issues. ACUMEN is a service user and carer network which operates across Argyll & Bute, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde & Renfrewshire. It aims to bring service users & carers together to support development and positive change in mental health services.
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals who can identify and demonstrate their personal skills and attributes gained from their own personal experiences of recovery and building social connections, experts by experience!
As a Connectedness Champion, you will feel passionate about challenging social isolation and loneliness in the community. You will help to support RAMH and ACUMEN teams to develop ways to challenge the stigma of social isolation and loneliness and support others to find ways to develop their own social connections.
Training: Appropriate training including induction will be given as well as “on the job” training, individual development training, feedback and supervision.
