The RAMH Reuse Superstore in Renfrewshire has exciting new volunteering opportunity within our REstore Service, currently based in Johnstone in a 30,000 sq. feet site, situated in the centre of Johnstone
We are looking for volunteers to assist with donation collections from the general public and deliveries from sales. This means moving large items in and out of properties, so a level of good health and fitness is essential.
Training and guidance on moving and handling with be given as well as the process for assessing suitable goods being offered for collection.
You must be qualified to drive our 3.5 tonne Luton van or a small Renault electric van, working alongside REstore colleagues in the collection and deliveries of donated furniture and household items.
If you have a minimum of 9 hours per week to donate (two 4.5 hours days), please telephone the service coordinator on 0141 237 7600 who will be happy to answer any questions or arrange to show you around the store and warehouse space.
The REstore service delivers a high quality service to service users and the public, therefore we need volunteers who are able to use their initiative and take the lead in helping us deliver our service. As we have a very small staff team we are only able to offer a limited number of highly supported volunteering placements, due to Health & Safety.
