The RAMH Reuse Superstore in Renfrewshire has exciting new volunteering opportunities within our Lifeskills Service, currently based in Johnstone in a 12,500 sq. feet showroom open to the public as well as clients.  We are looking for volunteers with an interest in reducing waste in textiles. Almost 100% of household textiles and clothing can be recycled, regardless of quality of condition. The outcomes of this would be a higher level of goods being made available for sale to clients and the public, as well as a reduction in landfill.  We can offer training and vocational experience in many reuse aspects i.e. Revolve training and the impact on the environment

If you have a minimum of 9 hours per week to donate (two 4.5 hours days), please telephone the Service Co-ordinator on 0141 237 7600 who will be happy to answer any questions or arrange to show you around the store.  The Lifeskills service delivers a high quality service to service users and the public, therefore we need volunteers who are able to use their initiative and take the lead in helping us deliver our service. As we have a very small staff team we are only able to offer a limited number of highly supported volunteering placements, due to Health & Safety.

Application packs can be obtained by telephoning the RAMH Recruitment line on:0141 847 8910 and quoting the ref no 582 or can be downloaded from this page
