CEO Peter visits football tournament fundraiser
Peter Jung, CEO or RAMH, enjoyed a festival of football as the John Grant tournament reached its climax on Sunday. This three-day extravaganza, hosted by Johnstone Burgh, brought together teams of all ages, closing with the home team winning the John Grant trophy after a 6-1 win over Maryhill in the final.
Johnstone Burgh have a close connection with RAMH and used this event to raise over £2,500 for our work. Peter said ‘I had a brilliant afternoon of high tempo, entertaining football. It was great that the sun shone, it seemed to bring the whole of Johnstone out! I can’t thank Vic (the Treasurer) and Brian (the Chair) for all they have done for RAMH, this is a fabulous donation’.
Johnstone Burgh run a men’s group that meets every two weeks in their committee room at Keanie Park. The next meeting is at 2pm on the 19th of July and every two weeks after that. All are welcome.
