Community Garden

Our community Garden in Barrhead had a wee face lift this week, as a number of staff, volunteers, service users, and friends worked tirelessly to regenerate the space. It was great to see so many people give their time and expertise to develop the space. We repainted the walls, retreated the wood, built new decking, replaced seating and fixed our sheds. The garden still has a wee bit more work be completed but it is now again looking a really inviting space for anyone in the wider community to use.

Our upcoming plans in the space will be the planting of a remembrance tree for suicide prevention day (sept 10th) and working on a mural/art piece for the Scottish Mental health arts festival in October.

If you haven’t already why not pop in and view the space at 21 Carlibar Rd Barrhead (access in off Murial street)
